- He is a graduate in Law by the Centro Universitario Villanueva, an accredited centre of the Complutense University of Madrid (2009).
- Master in Sport Law by the University of Lleida.
- Member of the Section dealing with sports law of the Malaga Bar Association.
He has been a lawyer and partner of the firm since 2009. He is also head of the Sports Law Department.
The Sports Law Department offers legal advice to everyone involved in sports, ranging from athletes, sporting agents, clubs, leagues, federations, etc. Concurrently to sports law, Joaquín also collaborates with the Procedural (Criminal and Civil) and Commercial Departments.
He has participated in presentations at the University of Malaga and the Malaga Bar Association, all of which relate to sport-legal matters.
Joaquín is a collaborator on the radio programme “The Magic of Sport” [La Magia del Deporte] on Radio4G Malaga, where they analyse the legal aspects of sport on a weekly basis, including aspects like the creation rights of clubs, sport sponsorships, transfer of minors, distribution of television royalties…
He is a fellow member of the Malaga Bar Association, member of the Sport Law Section of the Malaga Bar Association and member of the Andalusian Association of Sport Law.
